Amy Hockert is an American anchor and reporter working for FOX 9 as an evening anchor and reporter at 5 pm and 10 pm. She joined FOX 9 in January 2015, after previously working for BringMeTheNews.

Minnesota is Hockert’s native home and she began her career while in college as she worked for the NBC affiliate in Fargo-Moorhead. She attended Minnesota State University Moorhead where she earned a Bachelor of Science in mass communication. In addition, Amy worked in North Dakota, North Carolina, Minot, and Raleigh. Later on, she relocated back to Minnesota where she worked at KARE-11 and served as VP of News for the digital news organization, Bring Me The News.

In addition, she took an 8-year break from television so as to start her family. She then came back on air in 2015, when she joined the FOX 9 team. During her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two kids.
