Amrit Singh is an American anchor and reporter working for Spectrum News 1 as an evening anchor, television host, and lawyer at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. He joined the Spectrum News 1 news team in September 2018, after previously working for REVOLT MEDIA and TV.

Singh obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison after graduating from Boston University with a magna cum laude degree, concentrating in political science and philosophy. He has won awards as a lawyer, TV host, and news anchor. He was a founding anchor of Spectrum News 1 in Los Angeles. Singh is the host of Inside The Issues with Amrit Singh, the network’s premier political interview program, which airs live every day from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

Singh was an editor of the International Law Journal at his law school and then worked as an attorney in New York City handling corporate securities litigation before joining Spectrum News.
