Amber Hardwick is an American meteorologist working for FOX59/CBS4 as the weekend morning meteorologist. She joined the FOX59/CBS4 team in March 2018, after previously working for WLFI in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Speedway, Indiana is where Hardwick was born and brought up and ever since she was in third grade, she dreamt of becoming a broadcast meteorologist. During her childhood days, she was afraid of thunderstorms, however, her fear later turned into a life-long passion. Hardwick attended Ball State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s Degree in operational meteorology and climatology.
In addition, while studying at Ball State, she served as an executive board member of the Ball State Storm Chase Team. V also took part in a storm-chasing summer course that involved chasing severe storms in the Great Plains for almost two weeks. Furthermore, during her spare time, she enjoys; outdoor activities, walking her dog, baking desserts, walking her dog, and spending ample time with her family and friends.
