Amanda Crawford is an American Emmy award-winning anchor working at 7NEWS where she serves as a morning anchor a position she took up in May 2021. She joined the 7NEWS team in August 2020 as a reporter. 

She attended Grinnell High School where she graduated proudly and later on, she joined Iowa State University in 2004, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications in 2008. Prior to joining the 7NEWS team in Boston, she worked in Greenville, South Carolina at WYFF from 2018 to 2020 and while she was at the station, she served as a morning anchor. In addition, she also traveled to cover the presidential debate in Charleston, Clemson football, and hurricane damage in the south.

 Furthermore, she has also worked in Orlando at WESH 2 News where she served as a reporter. While working at WESH 2, she reported on the 2016 presidential election, a number of hurricanes, and the Pulse Nightclub shooting. She also reported in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Omaha, Nebraska. In addition, Crawford worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C for a year covering politics. During her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending ample time with her family.
