Alyssa Charlston is an American sports anchor and reporter working at FOX 13 Seattle since she joined the station in June 2021. Prior to joining FOX 13 Seattle, she worked at Pac-12 Networks where she served as a basketball color analyst/sideline reporter.
Charlston was brought up competing with her brother in their Sammamish driveway, where they fought over got to be Rashard Lewis or Gary Payton. After she completed college, she worked at KXLY-TV in Spokane for three and a half years and while she was at the station, she served as a sports anchor. She serves as the host of HuskyTron from Home during the unique 2020 COVID-19 Pac-12 football season. In 2007, she joined Eastlake High School where she graduated in 2010. Prior to joining college, she played high school basketball and volleyball for Eastlake. Later on, she joined the University of Idaho where she graduated in 2014, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism and digital media.=
She was able to secure a job at Inside the Vandals where she served as a sports reporter and assistant producer from September 2012 to December 2014. Later on, she worked at 710ESPN and KIRO Radio in Seattle where she served as a promotion assistant for 4 months. In addition, she has worked at KXLY-tv in Spokane, Washington where she served as a sports anchor and multi-media journalist. After she left KXLY-tv in December 2020, she worked at the University of Washington for three months as a Pregame and in-game host for University of Washington Football’s HuskyTron from Home.
