Alyse Eady Biography

Alyse Eady is an American Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter working at FOX 5 Atlanta where she served as the anchor/reporter for Good Day Atlanta. She joined the FOX 5 Atlanta team in August 2016, after previously working at KTHV-TV (CBS) in Little Rock, Arkansas. 

While she worked at KTHV-TV (CBS) in Little Rock, Arkansas, she won an Emmy award in 2013. In 2010, she was crowned Miss Arkansas and in 2011, she represented her state in the Miss America pageant where she was named as the first runner-up. In 2006, she joined Ouachita Baptist University where she graduated in 2010, with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and media Studies. Later in 2017, she graduated from Purdue University with a Masters of Science in communication and medis studies.

In addition, Eady is proud to partner with the Georgia Division of Family and Children’s Services to shed light on Wednesday’s Child on FOX 5. Alyse is a former foster child thus she understands the importance of adoption. For 23 years, she has been actively involved with the Boys and Girls Club of America and part of her work with the organization, is to travel  to Turkey and Germany to mentor children whose parents were deployed there. Furthermore, for 2,000 hours of community service, the Freedom Corps President’s Volunteer Service Award was given to her. She was also invited to speak before Congress on how the Boys and Girls Club impacted her life.
