Alyana Gomez is an American Emmy award-winning anchor/reporter working for 6ABC as the co-anchor of Action News at 10 AM. She joined the 6ABC news team in February 2022, after previously working for KCPQ-TV.
Philadelphia is Gomez’s birth home and she was later brought up in Collingswood, New Jersey. Since her childhood days, she always held a microphone in her hand and she knew who wanted to have a career in front of the camera. In addition, Alyana attended Salisbury University in Maryland where she studied Journalism and while she was there, she secured her first local news job. For her spot news, enterprise reporting, and in-depth coverage, she won her first Associated Press award.
