Allison Gargaro is an American anchor and traffic anchor working for FOX 35 on Good Day Orlando, which airs weekdays from 4 am to 10 a.m. She joined the FOX 35 news team in May 2020, as a weekend meteorologist.
Gargaro was brought up in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan before her family later relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 2008. She attended Arizona State University where she studied at its Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She also studied at Mississippi State University where she earned a degree in broadcast meteorology.
After having graduated, Allison joined KERO in Bakersfield, California where she served as an evening meteorologist. In addition, she also served as the host of a cooking show known as ‘Simply Sweet Allison.’ Gargaro wrote a cookbook while she was in Bakersfield that raised thousands of dollars for charity. During her spare time, she enjoys Face Timing with her parents’ rescue chocolate labs, cooking, reading, and staying active.
