Alison is a proud University of Kentucky alumna who was born in Cincinnati and raised in Kentucky. After working as a baseball announcer for the Florence Freedom for a summer, Alison became a reporter for WB64. Soon after, Alison received a full-time job offer from WBBJ-TV in Jackson, Tennessee, and decided to move south. Alison worked as an anchor, reporter, producer, and editor in Jackson. Some of Alison’s most noteworthy stories were about the tornado outbreak that occurred on Super Tuesday in 2008 and the tenacity of West Tennessee.
As a Cincinnati-based reporter, Alison has covered a wide range of stories, including presidential campaigns, tornadoes, the historic Ohio River flooding, the Polar Vortex, and her trip to Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI.
