Alex Lee is an American anchor, reporter, and host working for PIX 11 as a traffic anchor on the weekday morning newscast from 4 a to 9 am. She also serves as a fill-in host on New York Living from 10 am to 11 am on weekdays.
For the last 7+ years Alex has been in the broadcast field and during this time, she has covered the New York City market on both television and radio. Not long ago, she worked at WABC-TV in New York where she served as a fill-in traffic anchor. In addition, Lee also worked on ESPN New York’s ‘Michael Kay Show’ on 98.7 WEPN-FM where she served as the traffic reporter. While on the station, Alex made a number of appearances on the show’s YES Network TV simulcast.
Lee has previously worked at WCBS-TV in New York where she served as a backup traffic anchor. Furthermore, she has also worked on a number of digital programs where she served as a freelance on-camera correspondent. While in that position, she covered live events in New Jersey and New York City. In addition, she also had the privilege to interview entrepreneurs, celebrities, and athletes such as; NJ Devils alum Grant Marshall, NY Jets alum Wayne Chrebet, and former NY Yankee Mike Ford.
Lee attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in Media Studies. She also earned a minor in Italian Studies and was Captain of the college’s Division I Swimming & Diving program.
