Ahmad Hicks is an American sports host and reporter working for FOX 9 as a weekend sports host. He joined the FOX 9 sports team in October 2022, after previously working for KSDK.

In 2012, Hicks joined Southern Illinois University of Carbondale where he earned a major in journalism and a minor in radio-television and psychology in 2015. While in school, he was a member of the Salukis football team.

Prior to joining FOX 9, Hicks worked for 5 On Your Side in St. Louis for a period of 4 years, While he was at the station, he was nominated for an Emmy award for his reporting on the St. Louis Blues’ Stanley Cup run in 2019. Ahmad assisted in creating the station’s first-ever Diversity Equity & Inclusion task force, and for this, they won an Edward R. Murrow Award for their series, Race. Listen. Learn. Live.
