Adrienne Vonn is an American meteorologist working for NBC 5 on Saturday and Sunday mornings on NBC 5 Today. She joined the NBC 5 news team in September 2022.
Vonn was brought up in Pennsylvania and she attended the University of Pittsburgh where she studied Natural Science and graduated in 2007. Later on, she joined the Millersville University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology in 2010. Adrienne also received the CBM seal from the American Meteorological Society. In addition, before Vonn joined NBC 5, she worked at Spectrum News in Austin and KRIV in Houston.
Furthermore, Adrienne worked for AccuWeather in Austin as an on-air meteorologist for over three years. Later on, she joined WMAR-TV in Baltimore, Maryland where she served as a meteorologist for almost 5 years. In addition, Vonn worked for the FOX affiliate station in Houston, Texas where she served as a freelance meteorologist for a number of months. During her spare time, she enjoys trying out new restaurants, spending time with her Siberian husky named Nimbus, and cheering for FC Bayern Munich.
