Adam Williams Biography
Adam Williams is an American Emmy award-winning anchor who is currently working at 7News where he serves as a weekday evening co-anchor on the 5, 6, 7, 10 & 11 newscasts alongside Kim Khazei.
Prior to joining the 7News team, he worked in Miami at WSVN-TV from 2007, and while he was at the station, he served as an anchor and reporter. The Boston Herald voted him as the best morning anchor while the Boston’s “A-list” voted him as the best evening anchor. He started his television career at KRQE-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he served as a reporter. In addition, while he worked at KRQE, he received recognition and awards for his work in feature news, hard news and an hour-long documentary examining the state’s death penalty.
Furthermore, he considers working at 7News an honor and a privilege and while working at the station, he has covered stories on politics, science, crime, and education. He has also been involved in charitable organizations such as the National MS Society, Best Buddies International, and Project Bread. He attended Eastern New Mexico University where he graduated Cum Laude. During his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his yellow lab Shawmut, gardening, hot air ballooning, getting new friends, and renovating furniture.
