Adam Berg Biography
Adam Berg is an American meteorologist working for NBC6 as a weekday morning meteorologist from 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. He joined the NBC 6 news team in March 2013.
Prior to moving to Florida, Adam worked in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked for The Weather Channel for over 13 years. He joined The Weather Channel as a behind-the-scenes forecaster. Not long after, he moved up the trunks to becoming an on-camera meteorologist. While he worked for The Weather Channel, he became close with a number of the best experts in the field.
In addition, Adam has seen it all as he has covered; severe weather, snowstorms, and hurricanes in the studio and in the field. When Hurricane Irene hit New Jersey, Berg went on to cover beach erosion across parts of the Northeast and New England. Furthermore, Adam has also worked for The Weather Network outside of Toronto, Canada. While working in Toronto, Canada, Berg had a good feel for forecasting and how best he should relay pertinent weather information to viewers.
Canada is Adam’s birth home and the first seven years of his life were spent in Vancouver, Canada. Later on, he relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee where he began watching the local meteorologists while he dreamt of being the person to deliver those forecasts. Berg attended The Pennsylvania State University where he studied meteorology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology in December of 1995. In addition, Adam loves connecting with the folks of South Florida and being involved in community organizations and events.
