Southern California is Rebecca’s native home and she came to Austine after previously residing and working in Phoenix. While she was in Phoenix, she worked for the ABC affiliate and then the CBS affiliate while serving as an anchor and reporter. She was born into a family of journalists as her grandfather was the editor of the Los Angeles Herald Examiner in the 1960s and 1970s. Her uncle is also a retired photographer and photo editor who worked for the Los Angeles Times. In addition, during her spare time, she enjoys local food, listening to good music, and exploring the great outdoors.
