Kelly Ann Cicalese Biography
Kelly Ann Cicalese is an American meteorologist working for WCVB-TV as a weekend meteorologist on EyeOpener. She joined the WCVB StormTeam in October 2016.
Prior to joining WCVB, Ann worked at WSAZ-TV in West Virginia where she served as the station’s weekday evening Meteorologist. While she worked at WSAZ-TV, she reported and forecasted the January 2016 blizzard that brought more than three feet of snow to the Appalachian Mountains. In addition, she also forecasted the June 2016 West Virginia flooding disaster.
Furthermore, Kelly worked at KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyoming as part of the station’s weather team. While she was at the station, the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters awarded her the Best Weather Broadcaster award. While Cicalese worked in the Rocky Mountain region she forecasted harsh weather such as; frequent blizzards, and tornadoes, and she was actively involved in the updates of the September 2013 flooding disaster in Colorado.
New Jersey is Ann’s native home and she attended Rutgers University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. While studying at the University, Kelly was involved in the university’s television program and she was a member of the Rutgers Meteorology Club. In addition, Cicalese has also earned an Associate Degree in Mathematics. Furthermore, she speaks to her viewers at a number of social clubs and conducts kid-friendly weather experiments in local classrooms.
She is also very passionate about Irish Dancing and over the years, she has performed in a number of venues such as; P-N-C Bank Arts Center, Carnegie Hall, and a small Broadway stage. Whenever she finds time, she enjoys watching the latest films at the movie theater and playing tennis with her husband.
