Jennifer Eagan Biography
Jennifer Eagan is an American anchor and reporter working for WCVB as a weekend anchor at 5, 6, and 8 am and on Sundays at 10 am alongside Rhondella Richardson. She joined WCVB-TV in June 2013, after previously working for WHDH.
Wrentham is Eagan’s active home and she has served as a reporter in New England for over 10 years. Prior to joining WCVB-TV, she worked at WHDH where she worked for over 5 years while serving as a fill-in anchor and general assignment reporter. Before joining WHDH, Jennifer worked for New England Cable News where she served as a fill-in anchor and reporter.
Over the years, Eagan has covered numerous local and nationally important stories. One of the stories she covered was the return of James “Whitey” Bulger to Boston after having been arrested. In addition, she did a feature story on Honor Flight New England and covered the arrest of a hospital worker in New Hampshire who was accused of infecting patients with Hepatitis C. For these two stories, Eagan received two Emmy award nominations. Furthermore, Jennifer attended Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro and graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts degree
