Jordan Burrows Biography
Jordan Burrows is an American anchor and reporter working for CBS Detroit as a weekend morning anchor and weekly reporter. He joined the CBS Detroit team in January 2023, after previously working at KTVX.
Burrows attended John Carroll University in 2014, where he studied communication and media studies. Jordan then joined Indiana University where he studied in its Media School and graduated in May 2018, with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism. Burrows is a huge college sports fan and he roots for all things IU, but cheers for the Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Red Wings. He has been supporting these teams since his childhood days while growing up in his father’s Farmington Hills.
In addition, Burrows began his journalism career in Lafayette, Indiana where he served as an anchor and reporter. Later on, he relocated to Salt Lake City where he worked for a number of years as an anchor and reporter. Over the years, he has also worked for Turner and Barstool Sports. Furthermore, during Jordan’s downtime, he enjoys trying new restaurants with his fiancé, Abby, watching and playing sports, and hanging out with his dog Archibald.
