Scott Carpenter is an American anchor and reporter working at KCCI-TV where he serves as a weekend morning anchor and a general assignment reporter on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. He joined KCCI-TV in December 2020, after previously working at WLTZ.
Prior to joining KCCI, he worked in Columbus, Georgia at WLTZ as a sports anchor for three years and not long ago, he also worked in the heart of the Southeastern Conference where he served as a sports director. Westerville, Ohio is Carpenter’s native home and in 2013, he joined Heidelberg University where he graduated in 2017, with a Bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies. In addition, he has also worked at WHEI TV 10 in Tiffin, Ohio for nearly 4 years, and while he was there, he served as a sports and news anchor. During his leisure time, he enjoys hanging out with his wife and dog, golfing, and watching sports.
