Keke Vencill is an American anchor and reporter who is currently working at 7NEWS where she served as a weekend evening anchor and reporter. She joined the 7NEWS team in May 2017, after previously working at NH1 News. 

In 1999, Vencill joined Western Kentucky University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalsim in 2003. Prior to joining the 7NEWS team, she worked at NH1 News in New Hampshire where she served as an anchor and special correspondent. She resided in Antigua, Guatemala where she taught English and studied Spanish before she relocated to New England. In addition, after she had graduated from Western Kentucky University, she started her journalism career in West Virginia where she worked at WOAY-TV.

Later on, she was able to secure a job at WCSC in Charleston, South Carolina where she served as an anchor and reporter. Over the years, she has covered several storied including South Carolina Congressman Mark Sanford’s political comeback,   the 2006 Sago Mine Disaster in West Virginia, the trial of three men accused of killing an American couple in the Caribbean, and Haiti’s struggle to recover following the 2010 earthquake. During her leisure time, she enjoys; trying to play the fiddle, traveling, paddle boarding, reading, and volunteering in the community.
