Ben Arthur is an American sports host and reporter working for FOX Sports as the AFC South reporter. He joined the FOX Sports news team in September 2022, after previously working for The Tennessean.
Arthur is the AFC South reporter for FOX Sports. Previously, he worked for The Tennessean/USA TODAY Network, where he served as the Titans beat writer for a year and a half. Before his time in Tennessee, he covered the Seattle Seahawks for SeattlePI.com for three seasons from 2018 to 2020. He graduated from Issaquah High School in 2013, where he was part of the Honor Society and the Varsity basketball team. He then attended the University of Portland, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies, and graduated in 2017. During his university years, he was involved in various activities, including the Black Student Union and the Speech and Debate Union. His professional journalism career began with a podcast called “Ben on Hoops,” where he served as the host and producer.
This basketball-specific audio podcast featured Division I and professional basketball players as guests, accumulating more than 1,500 listens through 15 episodes. Later, he joined the Beacon in August 2016 as a Senior Sports Reporter/Analyst. Throughout his career, he has worked with media outlets such as Laredo Morning Times, Seattlepi.com and The Tennessean, and eventually landed a position at FOX Sports as the AFC South reporter. Currently, he is the CEO and host of Pinnacle Code, a podcast scheduled to launch in February 2024. This podcast will showcase high-achieving individuals from diverse backgrounds and careers, with a focus on highlighting Black excellence.
