Foreman has been a journalist for more than 30 years and has been involved in almost every big news story during that time. He has won an Emmy award for his work. Foreman has been to more than twenty countries and all fifty U.S. states to report on a wide range of topics, such as CNN’s America’s Choice 2016 presidential campaign, the Paris attacks, the search for missing passenger plane MH370, and the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Foreman is in charge of the network’s fact-checking program. In 2013, he and the fact-checking team won the Walter Cronkite/Brooks Jackson Award.

Foreman started working for CNN in 2004 and is now based in their Washington, D.C. bureau. There, he covers a wide range of topics for the network and writes for shows from The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer to Anderson Cooper 360º. Foreman was one of the main people behind CNN’s groundbreaking work in new media.
