Upon earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California, Bankert embarked on her professional journey as a Traffic Anchor at Heart Television in 2004. Subsequently, in 2006, she expanded her roles to include News Anchor, Reporter, and Host at Hearst Television. Here, she dedicated almost eight years to her work. Later, she transitioned to KTVT, and after a three-year tenure, she embraced a new challenge at ABC News.
