Ted Rowlands is an American anchor working for COURT TV as an anchor, reporter and the managing editor of the network’s in-house documentary unit. He joined the COURT TV news team in 2018, after previously working for CNN.
Before joining CNN, Rowlands served as a reporter for KTVU-TV in San Francisco, where he gained prominence as the station’s lead reporter covering the Laci Peterson case. His exclusive interview with Scott Peterson marked him as one of the few journalists to secure an interview with the high-profile figure. Before KTVU-TV, he worked as a reporter for KNTV in San Francisco. In 1999, he exclusively broadcasted the confession of Cary Stayner, who was accused of murdering two female tourists and a park employee in Yosemite National Park. Furthermore, he also covered the San Francisco dog mauling case and trial in 2000. Currently, he serves as the managing editor of the network’s in-house documentary unit for COURT TV.
