Brett Goldstein is an English Award-winning film and television actor, writer, producer, podcaster, and comedian best known for Ted Lasso (2023), Thor (2022), Harley Quinn (2023), and Doctor Who (2018). He rose to fame after starring in the sports comedy-drama Ted Lasso (2020-2023).

Goldstein started out acting in short films. His first part in a full-length movie was Wish You Were Here (2005) which is a thriller he wrote himself. This movie was later made into Slave (2009). In 2009, he made his TV debut in two episodes of The Bill. It is an ITV police thriller that has been on for a long time. From 2012 to 2016, he was in several comedy shows including Uncle on BBC One, Drifters on E4, and Derek on Channel 4. All of these shows were written and directed by Ricky Gervais. He also played Danny, David Hasselhoff’s trainer, on Dave’s fake documentary show Hoff the Record (2015–2016).

Goldstein wrote and played the lead part of a Peckham postman. He became a superhero in the low-budget romantic comedy SuperBob (2015), which came out in 2013.
