Nicole also received several recognitions including being nominated for an Emmy in Breaking News Coverage, won four Associated Press awards, including Best Daytime Newscast, and earned a Louisiana Association of Broadcasters award for Best Political Coverage. Moreover, she received the Monroe, Louisiana, award for Best News Anchor. In addition, Nicole has been mentioned in or featured as a media guest expert for such affiliates as TBN, BET, Dallas Morning News, and Fox News.
