Chris Tomer is an American Emmy Award-winning meteorologist working for FOX31 as a weekday morning anchor and reporter from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. He joined the FOX31 news team in 2005, after previously working for Sinclair Broadcast Group.

When not working, Tomer climbs mountains, runs trails, and snow skis. Chris completed climbing all 58 of Colorado’s 14ers in 2009 including the four major 14er Traverses. Many of Chris’s adventures are showcased on Channel 2 under the name of “Tomer’s Trails”, which won an Emmy Award in 2015. During his spare time, Tomer forecasts for teams around the world skiing and climbing the highest peaks.
