Leah Uko is an American anchor and reporter working for NBC10 as a general assignment reporter on weekdays and Sunday evenings. She joined the NBC10 news team in March 2022, after previously working for WCIV-TV.

Leah graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Journalism. She is honored to be a part of the National Association of Black Journalists and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

She has also done news reporting for KARK in Little Rock, Arkansas; KAGS in Bryan/College Station, Texas; WLTZ in Columbus, Georgia; and KPTM in Omaha, Nebraska.
One of Leah’s most well-known pieces of reporting was her Emmy-nominated account of rapper Nipsey Hussle’s life and eventual demise. The documentary gave viewers an overview of his life, which included involvement in gangs, rapping later in life, and eventually philanthropy and business. Leah likes to do weights, watch movies, and stroll around the neighborhoods in the Philadelphia region when she has free time. She participates in the National Physique Committee (NPC) figure bodybuilding competition.
