Ashley Wenskoski is an American Sports anchor working for CNY Central as a sports anchor and reporter on weekends. She joined the CNY Central sports team in August 2023 after previously interning with the sports department during her senior year of college.
Wenskoski graduated magna cum laude from the SI New house School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in May 2023 with a bachelor’s in broadcast and digital journalism and dual minors in political science and sports management. She also graduated from Lehigh University in 2019 with Bachelors in International Relations and Affairs. She began working live alongside on-air host as both a play-by-play announcer and color commentator for Palisades High School sporting events as a sports broadcasting intern in 2018.
In Doylestown, Pennsylvania, United States 2019, she was a teen print panelist and writer for a year. Here, she covered local, cultural, and sporting events for the greater Philadelphia area and provided frequent high school football coverage through print feature pieces for ten months.
