Frank Marzullo Biography
Frank Marzullo is an American meteorologist working for WXIX-TV as a morning meteorologist at 4:30 am until 9 am. He joined the FOX19 NOW news team in 2007, after previously working for WFMJ.
Frank Marzullo Career
The Cleveland native, Frank, is a graduate of Youngstown State University and Mississippi State University, where he studied meteorology. He spent his college years working behind the scenes at Cleveland, West Virginia, and Huntington, West Virginia, stations.
Prior to joining FOX19 NOW, Frank worked as the weather forecaster for the morning and noon at the Youngstown, Ohio-based NBC station WFMJ, for nearly seven years. For his work, he received the Ohio Associated Press Award for Outstanding Weather Operation two years in a row. Additionally, he spent one year working as a forecaster for Parkersburg, West Virginia’s WTAP, an NBC station.
Frank’s every weekday morning shows are the FOX19 NOW Morning News which airs every weekday from 4:30 to 9 a.m., and the FOX19 NOW Morning News Xtra, which airs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. He discusses current events in a casual and conversational manner on Xtra, highlighting all the wonderful things that make the Tri-State a wonderful place to live.
In addition to his career, Frank has also received the Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society and is currently a member of the National Weather Association. A strong supporter of local food bank efforts, he also collaborates with the American Heart Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Cincinnati Museum Center, and Duke Energy Children’s Museum. During his spare time, Frank enjoys cooking at his home and educating school kids about the weather.
