Tom Abrahams is an American Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter who is currently working at KTRK. He serves as the weekend evening anchor on Eyewitness News at ABC13. In addition, he has been working at ABC13 since 1999.
While working as an anchor on Eyewitness News, he has traveled from Chornobyl and the Panama Canal to The Amazon Jungle and the Black Sea to show its viewers how far-away places affect our lives here in Southeast Texas. Furthermore, he has covered national politics and stories that relate to the economy, the environment, and energy.
In addition, he did cover seven national political conventions and interviewed five US Presidents, foreign heads of state, and cabinet members. Prior to also producing five half-hour special reports on subjects including the future of energy production, the new space race, and the 2008 presidential election. Furthermore, for his education, he attended the University of Florida where he graduated proudly. During his downtime, he enjoys writing and is an author who has penned more than two dozen novels.
