Trina Robinson is an American three-time Emmy award-winning anchor working for WTVJ as a weekday evening anchor at 7 pm. She also serves as the co-anchor of the 11 pm newscast alongside Jawan Strader.

Robinson joined the NBC 6 news team in September 1999, and ever since, she has served as a breaking news specialist, reporter, anchor, and meteorologist. Prior to joining the WTVJ team, Trina worked for KYW in Philadelphia where she served as the anchor of the 6 pm and 11 pm newscast. In addition, she also covered the White House for budget hearings. Trina has also covered the “Monica Lewinsky Scandal”, which resulted in the impeachment of President Clinton. Before that, Robinson worked for Orlando, South Carolina, Tampa, Virginia, and Fort Myers.
Furthermore, while working at the station, Trina has done feature reporting such as “Trina Tries It”, whereby she did everything from grabbing a chainsaw to ice sculpting a towering frigid work of art to tossing knives as a Benihana Chef. Robinson did weekly money and business reports such as “The Recessionista Report” and “Living Cheaper” which assisted viewers on how to live well while on a tight budget. In addition, Trina was part of the NBC 6 investigative team that uncovered an underground network of women who illegally gave and received silicone injections to improve their beauty.
As a result of that investigation, a number of arrests of unlicensed medical practitioners gained national and international attention which led to many local and national awards. The College of Notre Dame in Baltimore is where Robinson received a liberal arts degree. She also attended the American University in Washington, D.C. where he graduated with a degree in Journalism and Public Affairs. In addition, she also attended Mississippi State University where she studied meteorology and graduated proudly. Not long ago, Trina studied at Western Governor’s University in Utah where she received an MBA. During her leisure time, she enjoys cooking, jogging, and traveling.
