Since the show’s 2009 premiere, Jonathan and his identical twin brother, Drew Scott, have co-hosted the well-liked HGTV television program My Dream Home (2011). Due to its immediate success, a number of spin-offs were created, three of which, Brother vs. Brother, Property Brothers at Home, and Property Brothers at Home on the Ranch, are produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment. The powerhouse producers continue to broaden their horizons behind the scenes as executive producers of numerous new programs with other talented actors, in addition to their award-winning and critically acclaimed television shows.
The Producers Ball, an annual banquet hosted at the Toronto International Cinema Festival to honor producers behind cinema, television, and digital production, was founded in 2011 by Jonathan and Drew. Together, Jonathan and Drew served as co-founders and executive producers of Scott Brothers Entertainment. In 2015, they published two country music songs, “Hold On” and “Let The Night Shine In,” on iTunes, showcasing their lifelong love of music. April 4, 2016, saw the publication of their debut book, Dream Home: The Property Brothers’ Ultimate Guide To Finding And Fixing Your Perfect House. It made its debut on the best-seller lists of The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. Additionally dedicated to their charitable endeavors, Jonathan and Drew collaborate with institutions such as World Vision, Artists For Peace & Justice, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
